With the support of a seasoned sales manager and access to ongoing coaching, you will actively visit and develop relationships with prospective and existing clients across your assigned territory. You’ll be on the front lines of our sales strategy, identifying opportunities during in-person meetings, assessing client needs, and providing tailored chemical product solutions. Working closely with internal teams including technical support, customer service, and marketing, you’ll ensure a seamless sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
You will manage a portfolio of strategic accounts within a high-potential sector, focusing on building long-term partnerships. Your day-to-day will include planning client visits, maintaining a structured sales pipeline, and ensuring all activity is well-documented in our CRM system. Your goal: to grow the territory and deliver measurable impact through proactive, customer-focused field sales efforts.
– Manage and grow a defined sales territory by visiting existing clients and prospecting new leads across industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, water treatment, agriculture, coating).
– Conduct on-site meetings to understand client needs, present solutions, and demonstrate the value of chemical products.
– Develop and deliver customized product proposals and pricing quotations based on technical and commercial factors.
– Follow up on leads, inquiries, and proposals in a timely and professional manner to close new business.
– Collaborate with internal teams (technical support, logistics, customer service) to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
– Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
– Enter and manage client interactions, sales activity, and pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
– Attend trade shows, industry events, or training sessions as needed to support business development.
– Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/logistics for larger orders or specialty chemicals.
– Provide technical support or product usage guidance when appropriate, with backup from the technical team if required.

– High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in chemistry, business, or a related field is an asset
– 2–5 years of experience in outside (field) sales, preferably in the chemical, industrial, or B2B sector
– Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
– Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite
– Familiarity with safety regulations and chemical product handling (asset)
– Understanding of logistics and supply chain basics (asset)
– Valid driver’s license – frequent travel required
– Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities
– Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector
– Educational background in chemistry, biochemistry, science, or a related field (asset)
– Strong skills in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals
– Self-motivated, professional, and well-organized with excellent time management
– Strong knowledge of sales techniques, account management, and customer relationship development
– Ability to understand technical product specifications and explain them to clients
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule: The working hours are Monday-Friday at our location in Baie D’Urfé, QC.
Salary: To be discussed according to experience
